2. Manipal University Online Entrance test or MU-OET for BA Journalism & Communication
The test duration is of 2.30 hours. There will be one question paper of multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type which carries 100 marks which is divided into

- Conceptual (25)
- General English (20)
- General Awareness (20)
- Case Study (15)
3. Combined Journalism Entrance Test or CJET
The written examination is designed to test the aptitude of the candidates to pursue the B.A. (Hons.) Journalism course. There is no prescribed syllabus for the entrance examination. The objective part of the question paper shall test the general awareness and current affairs and the subjective part will test the candidate’s knowledge on the following four sections, each section will be given equal marks:
- English Comprehension and Grammar
- Politics
- Media Issues
- Social Issues
The duration of test will be 2 hours.
