Management Test Content At A Glance

  1. IPMAT (IIM Indore IPM Aptitude Test)

 Exam Pattern: The duration of the IPM Aptitude Test will be for two hours. There will be 100 questions and each question will carry 4 marks.

 For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

The question paper will have two sections Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.

       2.IPMAT (IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test)

(a) Candidates applying for BBA, etc the structure of the test is as given below:

  1. Symbiosis Entrance Test or SET
a.Duration: SET duration is 150 minutes.b.Type: SET is an objective test.c.Papers: SET is conducted in two sessions for FIVE question papers.
A candidate may apply to take one paper from each session.d.Institutes: The constituent institutes use scores of the following for admission.SET is an aptitude test and objective in nature for all the papers. Each question has four options as answers. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.All sections are Mandatory.

  1. MU-CET or Mumbai University Common Entrance Test

Test structure
The candidate has to undergo a 3-tier selection procedure consisting of a Common Entrance Test (CET), a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).
The CET compromises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/Abstract Reasoning, Visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation. In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours. 
This test is then followed by a GD and PI which carry a significant role in the entire selection process.

  1. NPAT  (Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test for Undergraduates (BBA))

Structure of the Test

NPAT is an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions).

The NPAT will comprise of 3 major parts as follows:

For each question for which a wrong answer is marked, 1/4th of the marks allotted to those questions will be deducted as penalty. Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be on SAT Pattern 

As per standard practice, the scores across various sessions will be equated to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test items used across sessions.
