The following are some of the top entrance exams to be written for Law:
1. CLAT (Common Law Aptitude Test ) This qualifies a student to apply to the 21 prestigious National Law Universities around the country. CLAT is usually held on the second Sunday of May each year.
2. LSAT (Law School Aptitude Test): qualifies students for a different set of Law Schools the most prestigious among them being Jindal Global Law School and Amity Law School.
3. TSLAWCET & APLAWCET are the tests for Local TS & AP students which qualifies them to apply to all the TS & AP Law Colleges including the Osmania University College of Law.
4. AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is the entrance exam of Delhi National Law University. Though a National Law University, Delhi National Law University does not come under CLAT but has its own exam.
5. SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) for entry into Symbiosis Law School, Pune and Symbiosis Law School, Noida.
6. DUJET (Delhi University Joint Entrance Test) for entry into Faculty of Law, Delhi University
7. CUET (Christ University Entrance Test) for entry into Christ University, School of Law (SCLU)
