Independence Day Celebrations Banjara Hills.

PAGE Junior College Banjara Hills celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with a lot of Pomp & Joy. A prize distribution ceremony was held for the toppers in academics and literary activities.

As we all know, every Independence Day and Republic Day every year, people buy Indian Flags to show their respect and patriotism and keep it on the office table or pinned on the pockets of everyone. But, once this celebration gets over, these flags sadly become a part of the garbage or keep lying on the roads for weeks and the plastic flags clog the drainage system.
So, PAGE has come up with a unique concept, an Eco Friendly project called the ‘PLANTABLE FLAGS’ – Indian Tricolor made from recycled handmade paper and Marigold seeds.

After August 15th, you can plant the entire flag with utmost respect in the soil, keep it moist for few days and it will slowly grow into a plant.
