United World Institute of Design from Ahmedabad visited on July 31st, Sunday and conducted an exciting Design Workshop for students and their parents. Esteemed faculty of UID and NID passout Mr.Sameer Bakshi conducted the workshop with the support of Ms. Anindita Halder. The audience got a good insight into what design is and how viable design is as a career. It was an eye opening experience as a new world opened up for the students. A small activity was also conducted in which a piece of wire was given to the participants and they were asked to make a cube with it. No one thought they could do it and were ultimately surprised to discover that everyone does have a creative spark in themselves. All in all it was a good and positive experience and students and parents went away enriched with the knowledge of Design as a career. We thank UID for their efforts.
