TELECALLER PARTTIME

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Must have thorough knowledge of the product or service being promoted
  • Contact parents/students by telephone to promote products & services
  • Explain the product or service to potential customers
  • Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer
  • Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals
  • Provide pricing details as instructed
  • Handle questions
  • Generate walk-ins to the campus
  • Try to make conversions for products and services over the telephone
  • Obtain required information including names and addresses
  • Record details including reaction to the product or service offered
  • Schedule appointments for marketing staff to meet prospective students & their parents
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements or advertising/marketing activities 
  • Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction
  • Maintain records of data gathered and calls made
  • Report daily progress (or maybe even hourly) to the supervising authority

Qualities

  • Excellent English language and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Hindi and Telugu also
  • Pleasant voice and pleasing personality. 
  • Patience while dealing with customers. Must not be argumentative.
  • Ability to gather information and manage it
