Runa Távora Aggarwal has a business management background, with experience in the Indian Pharmaceutical and Information Technology industries. Runa spent time with Cadila Pharmaceuticals and the General Electric Company, in a variety of roles spanning front-end business development and back-end process development. Her career has been focused on building experience to view internal and external business dynamics for enhanced growth. She is a GE certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has a special affinity for process, change management and result-oriented team collaboration.At Cadila, Runa headed business operations for the Southern African market, with a focus on Sales, Marketing and Business Development. She then worked with Medisel Kenya Ltd. heading their country operations.
Runa’s 5 year GE career spanned Quality, IT, Supplier Management and Risk. She has deep experience in vendor development and management, including working with and developing frameworks for some of India’s top IT companies. She has audited various GE businesses worldwide on Risk, Compliance and Finance, making for a well-rounded view of business operations in general.
Since January 2008, Runa has worked in an independent capacity with multiple organizations across industries spanning FMCG, Consulting and Research & Advisory on Partnerships and Collaborations. She has published an international research report on the key enablers and obstacles to partnership success across Indian and British organizations, which, together with her extensive experience with global business and cross- cultural business dynamics, spanning East and Southern Africa, America and Europe, enables a sound understanding of partnership and cultural challenges organizations face in establishing effective collaborations.
Runa has an MBA in International Business from IIFT, New Delhi and is a certified Level 1 Supply Chain Professional.
