Page Junior College, Banjara Hills, celebrated the 75th Independence Day with pomp and gaiety. After hoisting the flag followed by singing the national anthem, the coordinators of various clubs organised a scintillating show.
The literary club headed by Malaika, Rishi and Vishnu of 2nd year have made the juniors talk about what Independence Day meant to them and how it is different from the other countries. This was followed by colourful dances and singing performed by the juniors from the cultural club, headed by Ashrith, Saifuddin, Sahithi, Jasmeen Kaur, Japneet and Hussain of 2nd year. Background music was given by Jagdeesh, Aryan and Sanjana.
Three girls Chaturva, Rakshita and Manasvi displayed meaningful paintings depicting the Ashoka Chakra in tri- colours.
All these programs were technically managed and presented by Mary, Rohan Singh and G. Rohan.
